Can't remove program. Please help

I'm trying to remove a program through the Add/Remove Programs in Control
Panel but most of them have the "Change/Remove" button greyed out.
Therefore, I can't uninstall them.
I don't understand why? Can anyone please help.

It sounds like your account does not have administrative rights on the
machine itself.
 
I'm the admin and always signed in as one.
