How to remove programs in Add/Remove List

Graham

When I go to Control Panel - Program Add/Remove , I have a long list of
programs that also includes all the MS system and program security updates
and hotfixes. These clutter up the list and presumably would never be
un-installed.

How do I remove them from the list without uninstalling them?

This freeware utility, AddRemoveCleaner allows you to hide (not remove) items
from Control Panel / Add/Remove Programs, without loosing the information needed
to
uninstall.

Get it here:

I use it in Windows 2000 Pro and it works well.

Thanks David - Sounds good.

I imagine there is a way to do it manually in the Registry or elsewhere, but
a FREE utility is OK with me!

If you dont wish to uninstall the hotfixes, I 'believe' that if you delete
them in IE they will no longer appear in add/remove
