Add/Remove Programs

I have selected the "Change/Remove" button for a program that is listed in
the "Add/Remove Programs" listing. This program has long since been removed,
either manually deleted or deleted through this "add/remove Programs" listing
but the listing for this program does not remove itself.

How can I manually go to "explore" to find the file containing this program
listing in "add/remove programs" and delete the information causing the
program to be listed in "add/remove programs"?

These items are stored in the registry under key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall

You can navigate to the key and remove the entry for the program that is
no longer on the pc.
