OK.... here goes. For some strange reason all of a sudden I cannot access
Amazon. I tried typing in amazon.com and also tried linking to it from
elsewhere and I get the same message........ The page cannot be displayed
and on bottom it says...... Cannot find server or DNS Error Internet
Explorer.

I uninstalled all pop up blockers, antivirus, firewall, etc, defaulted
everything back in security, etc. It appears as though it may be a bad
address or redirected or something. Ran spybot, adaware, spy doctor, and
tons of other stuff. Even tried updating and changed to IE7 with no change
to problem..... Went back to IE6. The problem is with my computer as my
other computer works fine in connecting to Amazon using the same dsl router.
Is there someplace in the registry that I should be looking for to check for
Amazon..... It's weird that only Amazon cannot be connected to. Could
there be a .dll missing or something....... I know any solution to this is
a long shot but.......

-Any help appreciated for sure!!!!!

I assume that you cleared your internet chache. I'd run ccleaner and
clear out any residual cookies which may be present as well.

Check for a file named HOSTS with no extension (not Hosts.sam). It may be a
hidden file. Open it with Notepad and remove any line referencing the site.
Or, rename HOSTS to OLDHOSTS
