Can't open anything on Desktop!!

When I click on "My Computer" It doesn't open. When I click on "My
Documents", it doesn't open. Nothing opens, except my default browser... Why?

This is odd.....there is another post in xp.general NG...."Re: How to
restore deleted ncneio.exe file", the OP cannot open any shortcuts from the
desktop. I told him to right click the shortcut, select Properties and
verify the Target: path. I think you may be on to something, Ted. Karen,
try creating a new shortcut and see if it works and post back about the
Target: path.
