I cannot log in in Hotmail account. I have found issue at
Microsoft, that it may be caused by some official update
form MS and I need to uploaf other secure pack to fix this
problem. The problem is that this pack ask me for previous
pack been installed AND IT IS, but he cant see him and
does not go on. Any suggestions? Thanks

Greetings,

I have a client that is having the same problem. He cannot see his Hotmail
mail, either by dialing direct in to the net or going thru his 'home
network'.

The MS kb info is about 'logging into secured sites' KB 813444 and 813951
(which is the Feb 2003 Cumulative Update). My client has tried the obvious
things, and is trying to install one other update, but it says that he needs
SP1. The computer is a new Dell and the restore CD says 'WinXP Home w/SP1',
so SP1 is installed.

I'm trying to figure this one out for him.

If applicable check this out.

Fix if This problem occurs after you apply the 832894 security update
(MS04-004) or

Greetings, Henri

Well, it's fixed... not sure what happened, but going by a post on Yahoo
News message boards, I had him try the UK hotmail site. He got right in, and
after that he could log into the US site.

As long as it's fixed, he's happy :)

Thanks for the help
