Can't install any printer

Hi, I am trying to install my HP 1200 printer but all I get is "print spooler
service is not running". I have tried the troubleshooter and activated the
print spooler service but I'm still unable to solve the problem. Can anyone
please help?

Is this XP Embedded related question? If not, please post it to an appropriate newsgroup (windowsxp.general or etc.)

If it is, you would probably want to give us more details about your image and had been included there.
How do you "installing" the printer driver? Did you componentize it and trying to add it as a component to your image configuration?
Or you are trying to use HP installer at run time?

Are you saying you were able to start the Printer Spooler service or not? If not, what errors you saw and what Error Log showed you?
