Can't get on the internet

I installed Spywarenuker program. After installation, my
Satellite internet or dial up internet connection won't
connect. I noticed this as it was trying to connect:
"res://c:\windows\system32\shdoclc.dll/dnserror.htm"
Spywarenuker says to reload windows as that there are
data mining programs out there that go as far as changing
the WinSock Internet communications connection during
their installation. When the data mining components of
these programs are removed it sometimes leaves the
computer unable to connect with the Internet. Their LSP
WinSock 2 Repair utility did not fix the problem. They
suggested reloading the operating system and I did, but
it did not correct this problem. Can anyone help me?
 
Talk with you ISP provider and get the required information to connect to
the internet. Can you type a known IP address 63.211.236.233 and get out?
If so need to get the IP address of your ISP providers DNS service.

A few of my clients have satellite Internet access (DirecPC) and they
require a proxy to be set up. It sounds like the Spywarenuker may have
changed the proxy settings.
