Do you have the wrong connection-specific DNS suffix set for your network
connection?

You can check this going to Start...Run...type in "ncpa.cpl"....Enter

Right-Click on your Local Area Connection and choose "Properties"

Bring up the properties for "Internet Protocol"

Hit the Advanced button and then select the DNS tab

Does it have the wrong DNS suffix under "DNS suffix for this connection"

Sorry if I over-simplified the instructions, but I work with "all kinds" of
users.

Be sure your computer is 100% virus/malware-free. Here are steps to go
through systematically:

http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Removing_Malware

HijackThis is a tool that requires expert analyzing. Go through the
other steps listed first and then if you need more help, run HijackThis
and post your log at one of the specialty forums linked at my site
above - *not* here, please.

If you know your computer is clean, then you are having problems with
your DNS settings. Check with your ISP regarding the right settings for
DNS. What changed between the time things worked and the time they
didn't?
