Hi all,
I am using the Pix 501 and connecting to the VPN with an XP SP 2 machine
succussfully,a nd I receive the proper IP settings for the internal subnet,
with the internal ip address of my dns server, which I can ping by ip
address; however, I cannot resolve any nodes by names, as it would appear the
VPN connection "prefers" to utilize my Internet DNS address, and does not
utilize the VPN DNS address for any type of name resolution.
Is there a method to instruct Windows to utilize the internal DNS server for
name resolution when connected to the VPN? It does receive the IP address of
the server.
What do you think? Starbucks to the winner of this one.
