Can't Get Game To Start

I have a game called Tie Fighter, which is supposed to
run on Windows 95. I have Windows XP. I have installed
the game with no problems. When I put the CD in, the game
startup screen comes up. I click on the option to play,
and I get a message saying I need to install DirectX 5.2.
I click on the button to install it, and it says that it
is already installed. This keeps happening.

Are you using Compatibility Mode, Bob? If not, I would highly recommend you

aha.u can uninstall the ActiveX with a tools...then...
