Can't get different page setup for different sections

I have several sections in my thesis. Most are portrait however I have a few
pages that are landscape. I want to change the margins on the landscape
pages. I have gone into page setup and selected "This section only" and
changed the margins however it is having no effect. It hasnot changed the
margins at all. Any ideas?
