Thanks Steve for your info, and I printed it and nothing works.
This undeleted emails won't leave.
Anything else to try. Thanks so much for all your help in advance.

You didn't move the message store then. If you move the message store then
you will have no messages at all when WinMail starts.

I don't have control over Microsoft. I can't make them fix things. All I
can do is try and help people with the problems, but fixing the root issues
is something over which I have no capabilities.

When you have a new PC and you have to do this weekly it's total BS. If I
had know about these problems I would have not bought a Dell or MS product
and went to an Apple. This problem has bee out there long enough MS
should
have had a fix in place, and deleting your program and stating is not a
solution ONLT A TEMPORY FIX!!!

Perhaps in future you'll take the trouble to do a little ruduimentary
research before diving in to purchase something.

YOU could save YOURSELF trouble with a little effort.

I don't like to complain but, you sound pretty irritated about all this, and
probably as much as some of us are. We should not have to be going through
this crap every couple of months. I went through this same thing months ago.
This is too complicated for those of us that are not computer literate. I
consider myself pretty computer literate, but this is very confusing to me.
I agree that microsoft should get off their butts and fix this. I wish I
still had windows xp and outlook express.

The point is, regardless of how disappointed one is with a
particular Microsoft product, it is unproductive and even childish
to unleash a bunch of invective in a forum that is manned by
unpaid peer-to-peer volunteers. If you feel like complaining,
get on the phone and call Microsoft. Don't make a public
spectacle of yourself.

I now have 2 in my Inbox and one in my Outbox that I can't delete. Oh, and
did I mention that now I can't send mail either? We'll see if this one makes
it.

"georger999cheers for now"
have you foiund an aswer yet? also i cant send any email but acn recieve?

Then you don't have an Inbox problem, do you? You have a quite different
problem. Why not try reading some of the threads about the Outlbox instead
of posting in an Inbox thread?

Mark the ones in the Inbox as read and ignore them.
For the Outbox, read the instructions here:

I agree with you. MS should be fixing these things, but since they aren't,
users are going to have to learn more about how to use their computers so
they can fix them. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out how to
open a directory and move files to another directory.

You can add me to the list, very disappointed with Vista "Joe Public" do not
have the time or IT knowledge to be "fixing" their PC when they don't work as
they are supposed to do, very frustraiting and annoying.

HAS ANYONE CONTACTED THEIR VIRUS PROGRAM TECHS?
THAT'S WHAT I'M GOING TO DO.
WIPING OUT MY INBOX WITH 2,000 EMAILS DOESN'T SEEM LIKE A FEASIBLE THING TO
DO.
THIS SUCKS!!!

i have had the same problem dell told me it was my server they won't take
responsability. I expect a new computer to work

what you say is all well and good if you can understand what.... You have me
so lost I am a computer user not a computer tech you might as well have wrote
bla bla bla ...I have no idea what or how to do any of that

If you can't follow the directions, get a technically savvy friend to do it
for you, or pay someone to do it. Your other option is to abandon
Windows Mail and switch to a different email program.
Thunderbird works well with Vista.
