cant delete a file????

downloaded a 3com ethernet driver
extracted it to a folder
burnt to cd to use on another pc
cant delete .exe file from desktop it says another prog or application is
using it
nothing is running!! even in safe moce it wont delete
help truly appreciated

Restart in DOS, delete it through a simple and
straightforward DEL filename.exe command
