cant delete a file???? help

downloaded a 3com ethernet driver
extracted it to a folder
burnt to cd to use on another pc
cant delete .exe file from desktop it says another prog or application is
using it
nothing is running!! even in safe moce it wont delete
help truly appreciated

Go to the console and delete it.

Start --> Run --> type CMD and hit enter.
type CD DESKTOP and press enter.
type DEL name_of_file.EXE and hit enter.

Beforte these steps, look for the file name in the Desktop.
