Can't create email accounts

Please Help!!!

I have never been able to create working email addresses in Windows Mail,
even
though I enter the correct servers, etc. They always turn out as default.

Some time ago, I was able to create an account with the help of a Comcast
support clerk, and it had been working great. I had the same email account
in Comcast and Windows Mail.

Yesterday, I tried to open a second email account in Windows Mail and again
it turned out as default, and also turned my first account default. And now
I don't have any account that works at all.

Can someone please suggest how to fix this problem?
Thank you so much!!!

Please explain what you mean by "turned out as default."

If you get an error message, post it here.

What's wrong with a default account? In Windows Mail, the main thing
different
about a default email account is that it's the one to use when sending a new
message produced with no indication of which is the correct account to use.

You may be missing a port number change that Comcast has started
requiring for some of its users, but not being very good at telling them
about in
advance.
