In reformatting the hd, I put the XP Home OS CD drive in. After restarting,
when F12 appears, I click on that. Next up the it asks which device to boot
from. I select "Boot from CD." Some files automatically load. The next
screen says, "Welcome to Setup." It asks for a selection of "Enter" which
will start the setup process; R which will repair the Windows XP, or F3 to
cancel.
Problem: When I reach the "Welcome to Setup" screen, none of the three
options work. How can I get Windows XP to boot from the CD?
(I have successfully reformatted the hd before and not had this problem.)
