can't access internet but can send/receive emails

what's up with this? any ideas? Swith to XP or Mac?

With that much information it's hard to tell.

Can't access the Internet with what?
IE?
FTP client?
Messenging client?
Telnet?
IRC?
Other?

You must be able to connect because you can get and send mail and posted
your message with WinMail from Mexico.

But, you leave a lot out. Kind of like driving up to a mechanic and telling
him your car is making a noise.
