Can't access drives

Whenever I try to access my CD drives, my Zip drive, or my
camera, I get the following message: "[Drive Letter]:\
is not accessible. Incorrect function." I've loaded and
reloaded all the correct drivers, but to no avail. The
only drive I can access is my camera, if I right click and
hit 'Open', but none of my other drives will let me access
them at all. Any suggestions?

were you able to solve your problem reading your cd drives? I am experiencing
what sounds to be the same problem. I'm uninstalling my Easy CD Creator
software per the recommendations from my query in search.microsoft.com.
"Incorrect function" error message when you access the CD-ROM drive, the
DVD-ROM drive, or the CD-RW drive". The response is the following link:

Since you posted 9/04 I assume you've hopefully overcome this problem.
