Cannot Upgrade XP Home to Pro after SP2 Install?

I have a pc with Home edition that I installed the pre-release sp2 on
to check a couple things. Auto-Updates installed the release version
of sp2. I want to upgrade that pc to pro to be able to enroll into
AD. Running the pro setup from windows, I get the following error:

Windows Setup

Setup cannot continue because the version of Windows on your
computer is newer than the version on the CD.

Warning: If you decide to delete the newer version of Windows that
is currently instaled on your computer, the files and settings cannot
be recovered.
---------------------

Do I need to "slip stream" an XP Pro install with the SP2 files? How
is that done? I haven't tried to create a slip streamed install
before, only used ones prepared prior to me.

This is correct, you have to do either create a slipstream
cd, or uninstall SP2 then do the upgrade to PRO then
install SP2

to create the slipstream cd:
