Cannot share printer

My wife and I both have Windows XP Pro on our computers in our home offices.
We share a printer that is located in my office (which we don't use often)
the other day my wife wanted to print something and could not do it (she has
done this numerous times in the past successfully). The only thing that has
changed that I can think of is we updated to Windows Office 2003 in the last
few months. I have checked everything I can think of i.e. sharing printers,
checking default printer and all the easy stuff, when I click on search for a
printer I get the message (directory service is unavailable) . We use a
wireless router and have for a long time and never had any problems sharing a
printer, both computers show the printer when you click on printers and Fax.
What wrong?

When you rightclick her icon for Local Area Connection in the Network
Connections folder, Properties should show the "File and Print Sharing"
protocol, and the checkbox should be checked. And on your machine too.

I am having similar problem. I have enabled share printer. Yet the second PC
can not find the printer which is attached on first PC. I have a home
network. Do I need to turn off firewall, anti virus, etc. before printer can
be shared? Also, do I need to load printer driver on the second PC
