Cannot Sent PDF or JPEG as Attachment

Cannot Sent PDF or JPEG as Attachment ....Can only send Word Doc. as
attachement. When I hit the send button, simply doesnt send. I get no error
message. Any suggestions?

Make sure they're closed in all other programs before you try to send them.

Are they going to your Outbox and not getting sent from there?
 
Thank you Peter. I irony is, I dont get an error message. The odd thing is,
when I hit the send button, the attached icon flashes once.
 
Hi Robert:

They do not reach the outbox. They simply do nothing. The send button does
pale however there is no movement. I've read numerous threads in this forum
that attribute similar problems to file size but in this case the files are
relatively small. In fact most are simply one page PDFs.

What if any antivirus programs do you have? Some of them tend to cause
various problems in Window Mail, although seldom immediately.
 
McAfee. Although I havent completely disabled McAfee I did lower a few of
the settings.

Since we last spoke...

I contacted McAfee. The advised me to uninstall, then reinstall. Amazingly
enough that corrected the problem.

Yes, but 'divorcing' McAfee is not a big deal. :-)

McAfee is one of those which needs to be fully uninstalled to stop it
from causing problems, not just be disabled. You may prefer to replace
it with avast! or AVG, preferably either one with a custom install that
tells it to leave out the part that scans email.
