When I boot up my computer and get to the screen that asks for my password I
hit OK and then I get this message "cannot log you on because the domain is
unavailable" Never had any problems before. I can get into ssafe mode.

I have windows xp sp-2....Please Help!

Is your networking working?

XP Home or Pro? Are you on a network, and is it working? Do you normally
log onto a domain?

It's possible, if you do normally log onto a domain, that the domain
controller is down. In this case, you'll pretty much have to wait.

If you're using XP Home, the problem can be quite different, so more details
will be helpful.

I have windows xp home sp-2, I do not have a network, unless you are talking
about the internet company I am connected to. Since I have had the computer
it has always booted up that way with a login and password. I have not had
any problems before now.
