cannot find server or dns error

I am constantly getting the message "cannot find server
or dns error" at the bottom of "the page cannot be
displayed" after I click on a link in IE 6.0.
Please help!

I had the same pproblew.I dont know if what i did will

help you but this is what i did. Open Internet Explorer
(IE) and go to tools. Go to Internet options and then
delete all your cookies and files. Then after doing that
go to the tab labeled Connections. If you are connected
by a LAN setting then go to LAN settings and make sure
that the only thing that has a check in the box is " Use
a proxy ......"

I have this problem too...I have almost exhausted everything..so am
having to use Navigator. Too many people have this same problem caused
by Kazaa or Gnutella I think. Reloading windows does not help.
reinstalling ie6 does not help...on the web there was a suggestion that
reloading the modem software might solve the problem...but Navigator
works!!!!!
