Cannot find _RESTORE folder on my c drive

I cannot find the system restore folder on my c drive
This is puzzling me as my restore system has started to arbitrarily lose restore points and indeed the restore system has failed to restore some older points

Can you help please

As an add-on.

Can someone tell me if this folder should be on the c drive? Or with XP is it somewhere else?
