When I try to do a system restore I get the following message: System
Restore has been turned off. Do you want to turn on System Restore now? I
click on yes and then uncheck Turn off System Restore I then get the
following message: System Restore encountered an error trying to
enable/disable one or more drives. Please restart your machine and try
again. Doesn't work, when I restart and try again I get the same result.
Under the status heading of System Properties it shows [C:] turned off.
How can I change this to turn on C: ?

Certain programs (Norton is one) interfere with System Restore. Read
