System Restore Failure

K

KJC

i have system restore points indicated, but once i select any of them
including the earliest enrty i get an System Restore Message stating:
Changes made to drive D:\C:\ after this point cannot be reversed because the
drive was either excluded from System Restore monitoring, or was turned off
or removed.

i neither turned it off, removed it or disabled system restore...

Any suggestions or insight as to what i can do to get this functioning
again?

Hi,

There's a good chance that System Restore is turning itself off do to low
free disk space. Stop System Restore from monitoring the D: drive and check
for free disk space on the C: drive and report how much there is here.

You can also check the Event Viewer for "SR" and "SRService" errors. If
there are any, post them here. There's no need to post duplicate errors.
