cannot delete folder (Please HELP!)

I recently downloaded a video and placed it into a folder. Now after
rebooting i cannot delete or even view this folder or its contents. When I
try to open it it gives me a message saying ... is not accessible, access is
denied. When I try to delete it it says cannot delete folder: access is
denied make sure the disk is not full or write protected and that the file is
not currently not in use. This file is not in use and also it says that the
folder contains 0 bytes. I am afraid of a virus, and would like to delete
this folder. Please HELP!

If you're "afraid of a virus" how about scanning the folder with your
antivirus software?

There are some little utilities about which may assist - but always use caution/care
when using:-

Unlocker
http://ccollomb.free.fr/unlocker/
Cannot delete file: Access is denied
There has been a sharing violation.
The source or destination file may be in use.
The file is in use by another program or user.
Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently
in use.

Utility for Deleting Invalid Files
http://www.purgeie.com/delinv.htm
For invalid/UNC file/folder name deleting, rather than the in use problem
I've actually used this one to solve one of my own problems.

I have checked this folder as well as my entire computer for viruses. I just
want to get rid of this folder.

You could try the "Remove On Reboot" free shell extension.

what results do you get from the dos prompt when you type

cacls <foldername>
