cannot delet messages from win/mail

I cannot delete messages from deleted items folder. I have plenty of mem,
tired to find .dbx files as on suggestion, but not dbx files on computer.
How do I get my system to work?

I figured out tonight how to do it. First mark all the messages in the
deleted items folder as unread. Then go to inbox and select it so it shows
your inbound messages. Then RIGHT CLICK on the deleted items folder and
select the "Empty Deleted Items Folder" select YES. It will only delete one
at a time . Keep doing that till they are all gone and then you will be able
to delete them normally.
