Importing a dbx file into Vista

From an old computer which used XE, I imported all the dbx files from the
various folders in OE6 (Inbox, Sent, etc.) Each of these folders had its
own dbx file, of course.

These are sitting on my desktop. I tried using Windows Explorer to drag a
dbx file into mail but that's either not the way to do it or I'm dragging it
to the wrong place.

In an allied issue, someone tried to help me referring to .eml files and/or
directories. I don't know what those are. All I see are these dbx's that I
imported.

Please be simplistic. When it comes to Windows Mail and women, I know very
little.

How do I incorporated those dbx files into my current Mail program?

Thanks
