Cannot close IE6 Browser window

I am unable to close my IE browser window, the only way to
close IE is from task manager. I cannot use the tab key
when in IE to move between fields.

I tried to reinstall IE, but since I am running XP Pro it
will not let me. Already edited the registry to allow for a
reinstall, but it still does not work.

Anyone have any ideas?
