Closing Browser Windows

Kelly

I can no longer close IE6 browser windows by clicking in X
in top right corner. As I am surfing and pop up windows
open up...I cannot close them. I end up having to go to
the task list and end task, which then closes all IE
windows open at the time no matter which one I select to
end task. Also cannot tab between fields in fill in web
sites.

[Cannot open Internet Explorer]

The steps still apply if the problem is caused by a malware BHO. [Not allowing IE to close]

First eliminate any scumware.
See

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each need to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded. There's also a lot more to do than just those two programs.

If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
in the same thread.
