I was stupidly playing around and uninstalled something
that I thought I didnt need.
Now my Windows 2000 display is set at 16 bit and
480 x600 with no options for changing it back to 256b
1024 x768.
Please, does ANYONE know what I did and how to Get it
back.
Thanks

This is because you are now using the built-in generic VGA video drivers.
It looks like you uninstalled your video card drivers. If you don't have
them on CD, you should be able to download them.

You must have accidentally removed a .dll that is
associated with the video driver. Try reboot, and if that
doesn't help then reinstall the driver. First right click
on your desktop and choose properties-settings-advance-
adapter. Make sure the name of your adapter is listed. If
not listed, you have lost the driver, that means you have
to re-install. Hope this helps.
