Cannot add printer

I had printers installed in my computer and is working
properly. I downloaded the MS updated last night and all
my printers are gone in the "printer and fax " folder.

When I try to add the printer, it says "operation could
not be completed".

I tried Control panel, admin tools, services, printer
spooler, and set startup type to "automatic", an error
message says "Error 1068: The dependency service or group
failed to start".

Please help.......
 
Try going to start > help and support > system restore/
From there try restoring your computer to an earlier date.
This should take your computer back to before the update
was installed. Or you could try going to start > control
panel > add or remove programs/ From there you can try and
uninstall the hotfix.
