hey, i am carranza, am running xp home, when i try to play a game this messege comes up "you must hace TNL capable 3d card to play this game". wut is that?
That would be T&L and it pertains to video card compatibility with graphics.
It stands for Texturing & Lighting and if you have an onboard video card or
older video card then it does not support it. I am guessing it is onboard so
you would have to install a new video card that has T&L capabilities.

Actually, it Transform(ation) and Lighting, not texture. Texture is another
aspect of the card.
If a game requires it, it is looking for hardware T&L that is supported
within the video card itself, not any software support. In your case,
DirectX is reporting back that your video card does not support it.
