Can You Have Two Email Clients Open Simultaneously...

Can you have two email clients open at the same time without conflicts (e.g.
Windows Mail & Outlook 07)? I currently have all of my POP3 setup in
Windows Mail (since purchasing the laptop over a year ago) and recently
setup Outlook 07 simply to retrieve Hotmail. So, it is not like they are
checking the same accounts.

Outlook, and most of the updates that affect it, keep trying to make Outlook
the default email provider program. Watch out for that.
