I have a program that I can only see when it is maximized. If I hit
the button next to the big X in the upper right corner, the program
appears to be going to the upper left but then disappears. The only
way I can get it back is to right click on it's name in the Start bar
and choos 'Maximize'. I've played with using the 'Move' option, but I
don't really know what it does... nothing that I've been able to
figure out. :( Is there a way to 'force' a window to the middle of
the sceen so I can resize it once again to suit my desire?

Thoughts:
-Some programs only have two states: open window and minimized. They may or
may not be resizable.

-You can try a right click on the taskbar and choose Cascade Windows. This
usually pulls "missing" windows back on to the desktop. From there you can
move the window to the desired position by click/hold on the title bar or
using the Move command and the arrow buttons. Then resize it.

-You could try move again if you weren't using the arrow keys with it
before.

- If your display adapter and monitor support a larger desktop area, bump
up the size of the desktop. You may be able to catch sight of the window.
Drag it to the center of the screen, then switch back to your preferred
desktop size.

This one always has been in the past. The program in question is
called SmartCapture, a screen capture program. I uninstalled and
reinstalled the program to fix the problem.

I've seen that option many times, but it totally slipped my mine this
time. If I run into it again, I hope I can remember it. LOL

I was trying to use the mouse to move the thingie... I'll try arrow
keys next time... again, if I remember. :/ I hate getting old, but I
guess it beats the alternative. :) Thanks. :))
