can not open web to edit

i use fp 2000 i can not get in my site after putting in
logon and pass word...i get error message...
"an error occurred accessing your frontpage web files,
authors. if authoring against web server please contact
the webmaster for this server's site. Webmaster please see
the server's system log for more details."
what do I do??? My host says i need to re publish my site
but it's not saved anywhere so I need to get in my
site....HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP

its so funny they said its your problem not theres.....and
you say its theres and in the mean time i can't get in my
