Ask your host to run a check on the extensions and/or check the permissions for your account.

Have you asked your host to run a check on the extensions and/or checked the permissions on your
account.

Has you host provided you with the content of their server's log file that relates to your
connection attempts?

This has nothing to do with uninstall or reinstalling the extensions on your account, if the
permissions for you account are not set correctly to begin with.

What exactly did your host check?

What does the host indicate that the server log file stated was the problem?

Consider searching for a free web host that supports the FP extensions, just so that you can rule
out any problem with your local installation of FP?

This is a public newsgroup, 99% of us that answer questions here are not employees of MS, we help
here because in most cases we enjoy helping users of FP. I enjoy helping users that are also will to
help themselves and try to provide any additional information I or someone else may ask when
attempting to help the user with a solution. Nobody here is paid to provide help.

If you don't like an answer that is provided, then just ignore it.

You always have the option to contact MS Tech Support for assistance, if you don't feel that you are

You are ignoring lots of sage advice here.
troubleshooting any problem is a logical progression of attempted solutions, feedback, new solution, feedback. So far your feedback ended about 10 msgs ago. You are ignoring advice of experts by not picking up the phone and calling your host and finding answers to questions suggested by Thomas, Tom, Steve - answers only your host can provide.

Re-read the thread to find them.

Lemme tell ya...the gurus here know a hell of a lot more than most hosts out there! Hosts are like the phone company, they like to blame problems on everyone else.

www.dzinestudios.com is my site...i have had it for some
time maybe 4 years...i have had the same host over a year
and was working on the site for a long time using front
page 2000 but havn't since the end of march. Up till now i
have not had a problem. i was told by someone that when i
publish the new web i should use the domain with out the
www.......but they didn't say put the http in front...i
was also told to try and publish through fp direct to the
ip number...any feedback on that???
