FP2003 publishing error message

I am using FP2003 to publish my site. Recently, I have be getting this error
message:

"An error occurred accessing your Windows SharePoint Services site files.
Authors-if authoring against a Web server, please contact the Webmaster for
this server's web site. Webmsaters-please see the server's application log
for more details."

IpowerWeb, the company hosting my site, has done all they can from their
end. Any ideas on how to correct this problem?

Expression Web Designer and SharePoint Designer support )
Download links are at the bottom of the page.
Run the functions that clear:
The Hidden Temporary files.
The Hidden Cache (*.web) files.

Steve, thanks for the link. I ran the utility, but still have the same
problem. I have not rebooted the computer, however. Perhaps this will help?

A reboot shouldn't be necessary.
My next step would be to have your host repair / reinstall the FrontPage Extensions.

The did that earlier tonight, thinking that might be the problem. It didn't
solve the problem.

Open your remote site in IE and then from the IE toolbar click File > Edit with FrontPage.
You "should" be prompted for the user name and password and then the site should open in
FrontPage.

Try this and post the results please.

If it doesn't work, please post a link to your site.

Are you getting this error message when you open your local copy of your web
or just when you try to publish it? What antivirus program are you running
on your PC?

Steve, IPowerWeb has moved my site to another of their servers. The problem
has disappeared. Thanks for all the suggestions, though.

I was getting it only when publishing. However, IPowerWeb has moved my site
to another of their servers, and the problem has disappeared.
I am using Norton AntiVirus.
