Can no longer view thumbnails of photos

I just noticed that the view for thumbnails no longer works.
In addition, when I right click a .jpg, I don't see a small
image on left as I used to.

Does anyone know what might be wrong??
I tried changing the properties so that it was opened with
a different viewer (image viewer) but that didn't help.

Interestingly, the .psd files became visible as thumbnails but none of the
other
formats did (like .jpg, gif, etc.).
Thanks, anything else I can try???

If it's selected and still not working then look here

and merge the attached file into your registry (save it and double click
on it)

Save it to where?
