Camera Wizard

I've owned a digital camera for about a year (Olympus Camedia). Prior to last week, MS-XP Home Edition would always start its "Camera Wizard" wheneverthe camera was attached and switched on. XP has "suddenly" decided NOT to start the wizard when the camera is attached. Pictures can still be accessed "manually" using the camera as a "removeable disk," but I am curious as to why XP would suddenly decide to treat the camera as something other than a "plug & play" device. Also - can the XP "Camera Wizard" somehow be "started manually" even though the "plug & play" status of the camera seems to be in doubt?

I checked out the thread, but I do not have the reg key indicated.
But, I did just change the batteries in the camera, and the wizard
started working again.....go figure.

thanks
