CALs with 2 copies of W2K server

Hi,

Just wondering if I have two copies of W2K server that come standard with 5
CALs each, does that mean I have 10 CALs all up for use with 10 XP PCs if I
use per seat licencing? Thanks.

Hello Gaz,

If you have Per seat license (10 licenses) then 10 windows XP machnines can
connect either of the servers. If its per server, then the windows XP
machines can connect to specific servers only.

Per seat would be suggested in Multi servers environment.
Per server would be suggested in single server environment.
