Licensing Question

Hi!
I need help on the licensing of microsoft product. I got the following items
which i stated down exactly as what i've in the licensing certs. Can anyone
tell me what exactly do they mean? If i got an sql server installed on a
win2003 or win2k server, do i need to buy the cal license for the server and
the sql server as well? how do i tell from the list below whether is it per
processor or per seat? Thks!

SQL Svr 2000 CAL English MVL
SQL Svr 2000 Standard Editon English MVL
SQL CAL 2000 English MVL Device CAL
Windows CAL 2000 English MVL
Windows Svr 2000 English MVL
Windows Server CAL 2003 English MVL Device CAL

You have a mixture of device and user cals. Going to per device is a one way
trip for configuration. Not uncommon to use device cals as user cals. The
