Hi folks !
I have a question for you that I have been grappling with for quite some time now.
My employers are making some big changes here and I must prepare the IT part of it properly. We are bringing in 4 new servers, the first one will be the W2K DC (DNS, AD, VPN, etc.) the second one will be the Exchange 2K and Fax server, the third will be File and print server and the fourth will be SQL 2K. All supporting a total of 100 employees.
If I understand the licensing principles correctly, I need 100 W2K server CALs on my DC, 100 Exchange CALs on my exchange server, 100 SQL CALs on my SQL server but I wonder if I need 100 W2K CALs for the file and print server.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated! And if my licensing plan is wrong please let me know.
Thank you for your assistance.
