Calling all Dual DVI experts

I am trying to purchase a video card the will work with (2) Samsung 204t
monitors at 1600*1200 and give accurate or equal color. The current
situation I have is a NVIDIA based 6800 with dual DVI. At the boot screen
and all the way through the process you can see an extreme color difference.

I have tried different cards and different monitor pairs, I have swapped
cables (and problem swaps, so I know it is the card(s).

I understand it is a voltage issue so what brand, chip set will get me
closest. As you know you can only have one color profile working in XP so
getting to that start out close is important.

Maybe 2 separate cards is what it will take I don not know but I should be
able to get two monitors in same color space.

TIA

Make sure each monitor is using a Vendor/Model Specific driver
and not using XP's Plug-&-Play driver. Some monitor vendors
have a Monitor Adjustment applet that helps adjust the monitor
to the video card. I would think with a little effort you can get both
monitors to display properly.

I am expecting parity before the OS. Then I can profile one and have both
looking about the same or closer than now. I don't think my expectations
are too high. Finding a video card with equal output. Nvidia does not.
Matrox does not. I have ordered an ATI we will see. I may have to buy 2
inexpensive pci cards. I don't care about high frame rate 3d apps.

I've setup a fair number of Dual-Monitor setups and have seen some
variance. Usually, the setups I work on may have one larger monitor
than the 2nd or different Vendor;/Models. Usually, I can adjust with
the Vendor tool or the OSD. Surprised to hear that Matrox wasn't up
to par. I've used their cards in the past and thought they were rated
highly for dual monitor cards. Good Luck and post back your results
when you find an acceptable setup.

What blows me away about this issue is the lack of customer support that
even understands the issue. It seems so simple. Dual DVI, Dual Monitor
systems are not exotic.

2 cheap pci cards looks like the only route but we will see after I get the
ATI. The ATI I ordered is an older 9600 Pro which is made for both the MAC
and PC platform so maybe, just maybe they have parity because it is DVI link
compatiable meaning it can run Apples 30" display that require dual DVI. I
can't imagine lack of parity in that situation unless it is a color tables
issue at the cards bios level. I noticed when looking at my cards with the
RIVA Tuner there is 2 level of color tables.
