So! Most still use dialup, and it is faster than it used to be. Most don't
have a need for broadband, if they are not downloading, or online a great
deal, as much as just casual browsing. Dialup thee days cost around 1/3 that
of most broadband packages. I could not see spending that kind of money of a
connection that more than likely would be used little each day, if any at
all every day!

I have had broadband for only a year because it was unavailable for the
place I am before that.
The broadband I have can hardly be called broadband its only 384 download
128 upload.
And its still very expensive.... It costs 65 Euros (dollars say) per month!
At the begining it was even more expensive.
But compared to the money I was spending on dial up its cheap!

I used dial-up for four years because that is all we had available until
this year. As for costs, they are all about the same per month here:
Dial up with separate phone line = $45.00
DSL - Bell South = $42.00
Cable - Time Warner = $45.00
