cache

How does the "cache" work in an IE browser? Any pointers are appreciated.

I am attending On-line courses, (e-Learning), from time to time I have to
clear all the cache other wise I cannt run the courses. Clearing the cache
is to delete all my settings, it is quite inconvenient. I am trying to find
a way to avoid clearing cache. I have already allotted 200 MB for my
Internet Temporary Files.

Any pointers are appreciated.

I know that and have mine set to 60 MB
