c11-00016 vs c78-00686

Hi, friends,

I spent hours on microsoft.com web, trying to find a
Microsoft support/sale email address to ask a question,
but failed. (This is one of the most stupid web site and
product service I have ever seen!).

I am trying to buy 5 more CAL, but I found at lease two
products:

Microsoft windows 2000 server with 5 client access license
c11-00016

and

Microsoft windows 2000 server with 5 client access license
c78-00686

What is the difference between them? Which one I should
choose?

Thanks a lot for your help.

I took a look at it myself, and it appears that the C11-00016 is the full
version of Windows 2000 Server w/ 5 CALs and the C78-00686 is a 5-pack of
additional CALs for Windows 2000 Server. The former goes for around $1000
and the latter goes for around $200.

I would recommend calling Microsoft or a vendor, like CDW, if you're still
not sure about what you need and what you're buying.
