c0000135 error - blue screen

did update and upon reboot, got the blue screen error
message with c0000135.

pc will not boot, not boot to command or safe mode. if i
boot with cd, it asks to hit any key to run from cd, but
when i do, nothing happens.

I also get c0000135 but while I have similar difficulties
to you booting I get a message for about 2 secs which
says:- stop c0000135 (unable to locate DLL)
The dynamic link library winsrv could not be found in the
specified path Default Load Path. The machine runs up to
the Windows 2000 page crashes and restarts. It sounds to
me as though you have much the same problem.
